Terms of sale

Last updated 12 October 2026. These terms apply to every order placed on definepeps.com. Placing an order means you accept them together with the research use policy, the returns policy and the privacy policy.

1. Products

All products are supplied for in-vitro laboratory research only. They are not drugs, foods, cosmetics, supplements or medical devices, have not been evaluated by any regulator for safety or efficacy, and are not for human or veterinary use of any kind. Product descriptions summarise published literature and are not advice.

2. Eligibility

Orders are accepted only from researchers aged 21 or over in the United States and 18 or over elsewhere who confirm, on each order, that they operate a registered business, research institution or analytical facility and that the products will be used for laboratory study. We may ask for institutional details and may decline or cancel any order.

3. Prices and payment

Prices are in US dollars. Other currencies shown on the site are indicative conversions. Payment is by Bitcoin at the amount shown at checkout; the amount is held for a short window and a new amount is generated if it lapses. An order is confirmed when the payment reaches two network confirmations. Overpayments are returned to the sending address; underpayments are held until the balance arrives or the order is cancelled.

4. Shipping

Orders are dispatched within one business day of payment confirmation with a tracking number. Transit times are estimates. Risk passes to you on delivery. You are responsible for any import duties, permits or restrictions that apply in your jurisdiction, and for lawful handling, storage and disposal.

5. Returns and replacements

Sealed research reagents cannot be returned once shipped. Incorrect or damaged items are replaced under the returns policy.

6. Certificates of analysis

A certificate of analysis from the testing laboratory is available on request for each listed lot. The certificate reports the measurements made on that lot and nothing more.

7. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law our liability for any order is limited to the price paid for it. We are not liable for any loss arising from use of a product contrary to these terms or the research use policy, and you agree to indemnify DefinePeps against any claim arising from such use. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited by law.

8. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential. We may close accounts used in breach of these terms.
